NEWS

From time-to-time Nic shamelssly plugs #MeetTheMedia on the podcast. We rib him about his commercialism but, actually, it’s a fantastic event designed to bring media decision-makers together with experts and leaders of industry.

It’s all about helping these groups gain a better understanding of each other and, over the years, the event has formed thousands of mutually-beneficial relationships. Nic has four #MeetTheMedia events coming up. Details are below.

Nic Hayes of Brand Newsroom and Media Stable#MeettheMedia is popular with the media, too. Nic regularly has guests from 3AW, The Age, SMH, AFR, The Daily Telegraph, Studio 10, Talking Lifestyle, The Today Show, Sunrise, FoxFM, The Herald Sun, The Project, Channel Nine and Seven News.

So don’t miss out. There’ll be fresh media faces at each event and an additional styling and media training workshop for you to take full advantage of.

Book now and be comfortable in the knowledge that you’ve chosen the best event on the media calendar. (OK, we let Nic write that bit).

Two of the top minds behind marketing platform Contently have written a book together and you have a chance to win a free copy from Brand Newsroom. The Storytelling Edge win with Brand Newsroom podcast

Contently’s director of content strategy, Joe Lazauskas, and founder, Shane Snow, have written a book called The Storytelling Edge: How to Transform Your Business, Stop Screaming into the Void and Make People Love You.

The book reveals everything they’ve learned from seven years at Contently — including how they’ve built a huge audience for themselves, and the tactics that have made their best clients successful. They show how to figure out what your audience actually cares about (most people really suck at this) and how to tell stories in a way that’ll change how your audience thinks about you. It’s a complete guide for getting an advantage over your competition, but told through great stories because how-to guides suck.

How do I win a free copy of The Storytelling Edge?

Brand Newsroom has two copies of Joe and Shane’s book to give away. For your chance to win a copy, all you have to do is subscribe to the Brand Newsroom Community on the Brand Newsroom website. Which you can do right here…

We’ll choose the winners at 9.30 a.m. Perth time on Tuesday, 27 February 2018.

If you’ve already subscribed to the Brand Newsroom Community, don’t worry! Everyone who has already subscribed is automatically entered into the draw.
